AF overhaul the next two weeks?

Post by scotticus on Tue 17 Apr 2012, 7:34 pm

I'll figured since nothing much is flowing locally, I would clean wood out of the American Fork full time till something picks up. Anybodies free to help out, and I'll probaby be running it agean once the flow approaches 50 cfs. You cant call me, no phone, but you can facebook me (scott tennis england) I'm camping about a quarter mile above Tibble Fork Reservoire for at least the next two weeks, so stop on by to paddle if your ever in my neck of the woods. My goal is to get most or all of the portages cleared from Mineral Fork (back side of Snowbird down to the mouth of the canyon) at least for the time being. Besides wood, the whole 15 mile canyon is otherwise runnable at the right flows.

Hi Scott,
May I suggest Tibble Res down through Sawmill as a section worth cleaning. That section would probably get the most traffic if it was clean (IV), and that might get more folks interested in AF. It looks like the floods and/or the county or the park removed a lot of wood last year.
Do you have an email these days?

I do have email scotticus80@gmail.com. But I never check it. I do check my facebook email everyday though. Im going to start from Tibble down, and when that finished, work on upper Tibble.
