Still log in the Sevier

Post by Ron on Mon 30 Apr 2012, 9:44 am

The Sevier is up to a good running level, but there is still a log across it about a qt. mile above the bridge by the old railroad tunnel. The log is submerged, but a limb is sticking straight up in the middle with only 3 or 4' clearance on each side. A kayak could make it though if you hit it straight, but no way on a raft. You can see it from the highway if you park on the right side of the highway and walk across to the river side abt. a qt. of a mile upstream from the bridge at the tunnel. The river companies will have to cut it out before their season starts, but it's in there now.
