What kind of gear (other than kayak and paddle) do you recommend for this? I'd like to come and try a polo session. Sounds like a full face mask or something might be a good idea. I only have regular kayak helmets.

We have old hockey helmets for everyone. Some people don't use a mask it is all up to you. Main thing is bring your boat, paddle and $5.

and your skirt! haha... some like to wear gloves as the most frequent injury is poked and cut hands/fingers. Full face or cage helmets are a good idea as when people are digging for the ball with one paddle blade the other end is just slashing about. Great time, good workout.

Wow I think there was enough chlorine in that pool tonight to kill horse sized amoeba...Neigh-he-he-he. I now have two holes in my head where my eyeballs once flourished Shocked

Yeah, that was a lot of fun, but the chlorine induced blindness did make the drive home interesting. Thanks to whoever puts it on.

Super fun, and in all fairness the previous times I've been it wasn't bad but last night was gnarly. Swimming goggles are on my list.
