Provo Parks master plan

Post by RobA on Thu 12 Sep 2013, 1:59 pm

A couple of months ago Provo city published their updated Parks and Rec master plan on the mayor's website. As I searched though it today I found that it mentions (page 121) a whitewater trail / park from Columbia Lane to I-15. On page 144 it lists conducting a feasibility study for that park as an action item.

If you would like to comment or view the parks plan you can do that on the mayor's blog.

If you would like to comment or ask questions about the parks master plan those can be directed to:

Doug Robins
Parks and Division Director

Re: Provo Parks master plan

I just found out that the final public meeting to give input about the Provo City Parks and Rec. master plan will be tonight. This will hopefully be a good time to voice support for a whitewater trail/park on the Provo River.

Time and Place: Wednesday, October 23 at 7:00 pm in the Provo Recreation Center’s multipurpose room ( 500 North 320 West).
