Travelling Brit looking for paddlers

Post by GuyGenge on Sun 30 Mar 2014, 11:48 am

Hi folks,

I've come over from the UK for the summer and I've looking for folks to paddle with for the next week or so. Any top tips about finding paddlers & places to boat in northern Utah/ western Wyoming/ south eastern Idaho would be appreciated.

I'm in Vernal, UT at present and have a course in Driggs, ID that starts on April 8th. After that course I'm back here in Vernal before heading back to Canada for another summer rafting in BC Very Happy.

thanks
Guy

There's a Facebook page called "southeastern Idaho kayakers". There's one close to me called Cache Valley boaters, but there's nothing around here to boat. The Idaho boys have been boating some rivers a bit for the last couple weeks class 3 & 4 sections, so you might want to chime in with them. Good luck, welcome to Utah, and welcome to Utah rivers
