Ogden Gauge

Post by npackham on Sun 06 Feb 2011, 7:19 pm

Just read this in the paper.
http://www.standard.net/topics/environment/2011/02/05/officials-prepping-excess-runoff

Probably won't happen (yes, I'm a little cynical) but if somebody sees the Ogden spike in the next couple of weeks, please post something here so we can get on it.

Nate

As do I, daily. (Practically in my back yard!)
And no, I haven't fallen off of the kayaking world for good; just taking the winter off. As soon as the Ogden Crick has enough water, I'll be banging down the GNarrows at 30 cfs, and running Rainbow Gardens about once a week, just like last year.

Cheers!

I looked at eggs today, looked like 200 or so in the bend and was showing 450 on gauge. If its up, anyone want to run it tomorrow afternoon?

Now would be the time to ask for a release. We could get 2500 on Riverdale, or 500 to 600 on the Narrows. I mean they need to get rid of it anyway. Lets not let them dump it all at night like they tend to do in Utah.

You know what's funny (and not in a ha ha way), Pineview is actually realeasing 200+ cfs. It's just not going down the river; I suppose it's all going through the pipe. Sad
