bridal veil vs. the glee club

Post by johnnie a. on Tue 05 Apr 2011, 11:54 am

this morning, i had the opportunity to meet the the individual whom is in charge of the flows through bridal veil. he is an old, grizzled beaver named fredric, of dutch descent. i asked him about past, present, and future b.v. flows. i specifically asked him about the flows on sunday when the ninja heathen boaters askociation were on the river in comparison to monday afternoon when the paul bunyons(i heart dan merrill's wood!) were on it. his response is a tad colorful, as he spent a short stint in the bavy(beaver navy...). "who the hell gives a shit? you're on the river in the mountains, rather than down in the city, dumbass!!!" fredric then grabbed his own wood, scratched himself, and sauntered off, laughing to himself...

I just sent you a text to tell you to check your email. I sent you an email to reconfirm the time we are going to meet at the take out tomorrow. If your Spam Inbox blocked my email, It said "Are we still meeting at six tomorrow? Can you please respond via Instant Messaging? Post it on my Facebook wall too as a reminder."

Speaking of wood.... It may be on a move now more water is coming out of Deer Creek Dam. Its the most water thats been released from there all year, maybe, just maybe, our faces will get more wet. Holds or not holds, we are going to boat.

I love the correlation between increased water flows and Johnnie's creative writing. Keep it coming, big J!

The water managers up here are acting like they are getting paid to dump as much water as possible before the rivers warm up over 40 degrees :-).
Ogden below Pineview @1130 and rising.
Weber at Gateway @ 2310
No kiddin.
At least they are not dumping Bridalveil @1500 at the exact same time. Smile

Of all the times to take a trip. Man the narrows that high would make one heck of a video, and a goal to do it. I hope it holds until thursday so I can see it, and decide if it is worth finding others to hit it with me.

While the brethren and I are flabbergasted by the tone and tenor of your language, brother beaver, the glorious message you send evokes unanimous ah mens from the quorum of the seven-hundred and sixty-seven. When you and your beaver brethren ready yourselves for the laying on of hands, we'll be waiting to lay them on you. Ah men, ah men.
