This coming weekend is
our first Green Trip. Two trips, first
two weekends in May. Saturday/Sunday
April 30th and May 1st and again on May 7th/8th. More details for anyone new to the tradition,
new to the club, or new to the area can be found in the Eddyflower in the Utah Whitewater Club section of the forum.





Members please bring
your ACA number. Non-members, joining us
on the river, please come prepared to fill out an ACA waver with $5.00.





Green River,
Utah. Saturday, we will wait at Swazey’s until
11:00 AM for those who must drive down Saturday morning.

Flowing over 17,000 cfs now, anyone knows if these flows make the river more awesome or washed out lameness?
My willingness to make the drive teeters on the balance....

It's all a relative thing. Speaking of this section- lame compared to about 4000 cfs; which can be fun, or super-mega-awesome-cool compared to ~4000cfs.
I couldn't imagine floating something like the lower Mississippi in a whitewater kayak.
That would be lame.

at high water the rapids themselves aren't any harder or easier but the swirlies at the bottom are stronger, which can be a problem for beginners.
Also, the flat water moves at a good pace making the entire run from Nefertiti rapid take much less time.

Its warmer than here... so who cares. The noobs will need help so do it for them. Smile

We will be having a killer game of desert disk golf Sat evening.. Always a great time
