Green Daily conditions

Post by rickt on Thu 12 May 2011, 3:11 pm

Got a beginners group, mostly in paddle boats, with a few duckies, headed down to the Green daily for the weekend. Looked under trip reports for any comments about last weeks UWC trip on the same, but there were no comments there, wondering what it was like, any advice, suggestions for our group?
give me a call @ 8012558058.

It is flowing at a great fast level. Not much to worry about. One hole that I would avoid on stone house rapid. Zack floated through it on a paco pad so I think even if you didnt miss it you will be ok. Center river, Just go river right and you will be fine. Great flow for beginners, just remember the water is cold!

Also note that the flow is almost 2x what it was last weekend. We got there at about 13000 went up to 15000 over night. Now its at 23000. I bet all rocks are covered and you just have some clean wave trains to hit. Strong eddie lines are about the only thing that will be an issue.
