If you want to head this way I could paddle something in the Ogden area. Are you back 100% could take you down the lower section of the narrows to get you started on it.

I have a work meeting at one, but I would love to hit a lap around 11:30 if that works.

FSM, maybe you should spread your wings a little and hit something new for a change instead of trying to get poor broken Brandon in over his head so quick. Go do BV with them, and don't bitch about it the whole way down.

Bridge wave on the Ogden should be in pretty good now that the level has dropped. Anyone up for a little surf action today?

BV's a little far to drive on a weekday, for me anyway. I'd love to do something this evening, but everyon'e saying something different (UWC Hen-Tag Tuesdays /Pineview /RG /89 to RW(?)), levels coming out of the dams are rising, and rain's falling. Just have to play it by ear for a few hours I guess...

Well you should hit something other than the Loren Farr Bridge Wave. I think past the water fall section is no different than the "Crux" at BV plus I ask if he was a 100%. I did not plan on putting in at the top, and seeing how it went. There is Pineview, and other sections of the narrows that can be run that he may be able to handle. It is 600cfs that is a clean flow, and if you flip you are almost better off than to flip at 450 cfs. I am not the type of person to take someone down something they can't handle because it is unsafe, and puts me in a position to save them. And I have done BV this year, that is a super fun run in hand paddles I just wished it was much closer to me.

For the first time in the history of utrivers, I kindof agree with FSM. Loren Farr Wave is rather dull even on a SUP or in a canoe. And the crux of BV is the same as the Narrows. Everything FSM said after that is still marginal. 600 is definitely the easiest level for the Narrows, not sure if Brandon is in need of firing it up though. BV is nice b/c you can still do a good run and portage the crux. On Narrows it's just the one rapid really. I sure hope the Narrows comes back up, it was super fun when it was juicing. Finally Utah had Class 4 big water, the rarest kind of rapids.

Brandon and Hayden styled BV this morning. Super fun run at a grand. Seems the cripple isn't really a cripple after all. Very Happy

Today was great!! Cant wait to get back out and hit it up again. I am willing to take a shot at the narrows and think it will be no issue.

Thanks AJ for showing us down!
