The Evanston run is a good beginner/intermediate run also, if you have time to head out there on Saturday. Free boat demos too! I'm sure you could demo some privately owned boats too (like my Jefe Grande, if you want to try a Dagger Juice 7.1, let me know and I'll bring it).

I was gonna mention Evanston this Saturday, also. Lot's of safety on the water and the waves are looking super friendly. Even if you're not surfing, just running down from the state park would be quality river-time- punching through 7 good features.

yup, About a mile from the interstate, only adds a half hour drive if you're going to Hen-Tag anyway
