Paddling the afternoon of May 24th

Post by Kevohudd on Fri 20 May 2011, 10:24 pm

I am a confident class IV paddler coming out to the Salt Lake/ Ogden area for business next week. I would like to hit some of your snowmelt. I usually paddle in CO and the Southeast during the spring/summers. I have ran Ocoee, Tellico, Chattooga in the South and Numbers, Clear Creek...etc. in CO.

I am open to paddle the afternoon of Tuesday May 24th. Need to catch a flight Wednesday around noon.

I have rented a playboat from Wasatch Touring in Salt Lake. A friendly paddler mentioned a short II/III run on the Weber...near Taggart?...good play run? He said it is a good afternoon run and several paddlers hit the run after work on Tuesdays?

I would definitely love to run a section of a river. Any takers? If not I plan to go to the Riverdale playpark for the afternoon.

Feel free to email me at kevindhuddleston@gmail with any offers or advice. Any and all help is much appreciated. Phone: 479.858.1204

Thanks a bunch

Kevin

Bridal Veil would be a better choice. Lots more play waves and not so boring.

I may be down there on Tuesday but will know more closer to the day.

I'm planning on boating Tues as well. I agree with Brandon, the Provo would be considerably better for a III-IV run.
