89 to OPP

Post by Augie on Wed 25 May 2011, 6:04 pm

Anyone want to run 89 to OPP Thursday or Friday? I can go after 3 tomorrow and after 2 on Friday. I can't go too late Friday though. Launch by 4 on Friday. I have no idea what it is rated at this level but I really don't care. Might be a class fun at this level. OPP could be interesting also.

Class fun for sure in the rapids; fast in the flats with some big swirlies; @3300 we took all the main channels; good to go;
@3900 its so wide I intended to take all the main channels, but I chose two side channels by mistake; still ok.
Running to 24th; a highlight (the bike path crux) was paddling over where the bike path used to be by the baseball field (which is flooded).
