San Rafael & Muddy this weekend

Post by LarryS on Thu 26 May 2011, 8:33 am

We are thinking of running the Little Grand Canyon section of the San Rafael (scenic flatwater) Saturday and the Chutes Section of the Muddy (scenic class II - III) Sunday. Give me a call or send an e-mail if you are interested.

Ah, Ill be down in the area this weekend. Floating the little grand as an overnighter with some non-boaty peoples. Enjoy!

Are you taking touring boats on the Little Grand Canyon? Guesses on how long that takes in a day? Sounds interesting

We did it as a day trip about 15 years ago. It flows at a steady pace the whole way and was very do'able in a day.

We were going to use the same whitewater boats we plan on taking down the Muddy.
