Ogden Narrows Wood 7/4/11

Post by pariahmax on Mon 04 Jul 2011, 7:08 pm

There is a pinned log between boulders in the right chute in the narrows section below the hot pots 7/4/11. One could jump it at this level if you hit it on the up stream end. Hitting it on the down stream end would likely result in a serious pin situation. We opted for the left chute which was clean. There was another log 10yds upstream of said pinned log which did not pose a problem. The rest of the narrows run was clean and super fun. Pineview guage read 370 but it felt higher. Likely from the large run off from Wheeler Creek.

Lower levels are revealing old wood in the narrows. Same big log is there, but now the medium one, blocking the right side at the start, is showing itself.
This just makes double sure you take the left side line.

Some rocks have moved; minor changes; the waterfall drop is stickier in the 500-700 range; thats the only thing I've noticed which is harder. tends to push me right now.
Its been below 200 for a couple weeks, so its probably not fresh in peoples minds. Now its 45 Crying or Very sad
