What time are people leaving SLC? I'll be coming from Ogden and might need to follow someone up.

There will be people meeting at Craig's house on Browning (centrally located) at 9 am. Leaving at 9:30, sixth water at 11:00. Parking is limited at 6th, so anybody coming from Ogden or Salt Lake we can load cars then. I'm also sure there will be some sort of a Happy Valley rendezvous as well, though I haven't any details on that. If anybody would care to put that together, post away.

Craig's approximate address is:
830 E Browning Ave.
Salt Lake City

Just look for the boats Exclamation

843 Browning. Would anyone be interested in being the designated driver in the ASK shuttle vehicle? Free ride for whoever falls on that grenade. Otherwise the beast may stay home in favor of Beck's truck..

I'm staying fairly sober, got to work a 12 on Sunday. So I can drive, even if it means being seen with, (and one of), the ASK Huckers.

hmmm... well then I suppose it will be the hero. Don't really want to break any boat, but I would rather break that one if I had to have a choice. It doesn't get much use anyway.

hero's perfect; does it have the cushy foot brace? whadaya call that again;
Tell ya what though; carrying a lighter boat up that hill from the takeout would be "a good thing"..
Maybe I should take the G ride... One thing I like about a big creeker though is wearing full on trail runners, which cushion pitons way better than neoprene booties. Also the bomber foot brace... should break out the kayak backpack for the Jefe G; warm up for lower 6th!!

Thanks B. Rallying from my place round 9. As far as boats, take whatever. There are no real hydraulics on the drops. Playboats are definitely easier to hike out(taking the monstar, but used to use my fun primarily), and arguably more maneuverable on 12 cfs. Bill, I will have to hit up the lower stuff on another weekend.

Hey afaust. In case you need directions from Diamond Fork, they're easy. Follow Diamond Fork Rd., continue past the hot-springs parking. At the intersection, take a right and go up the hill. Take 1st left turn(which is at the top of the hill). Follow that 'till you come across vehicles parked around a gate. The gate is on the inside of a hard (right-turn) bend in the road. Cheers!

there had been some concern about my original costume plans. so... tomorrow i will be in costume as the masturbating bear from the conan show. i realize that we as kayakers are a conservative bunch, and so therefore, i act accordingly...

thanks for putting this on, andy.

Well, I'm sad to report (but not surprised that I am having to report it) that El Fettuccine Spaghetti Monster has backed out. Reportedly he has to work this weekend. Well, Justin gets to do WW on Sunday with us, so I guess it worked out.
