New to SLC Looking to Kayak This Weekend

Post by Wil on Mon 18 Jul 2011, 12:37 pm

I just moved out from Colorado to Park City this past weekend, and I am looking to get some kayaking in on my new home state. I am a Class IV-/IV boater with almost all my experience on the Arkansas river. 30+ runs on Royal Gorge and 10 runs on the numbers. Have only paddled in Utah a couple of times, and that was on Westwater trips at 4k and 9k and at 12k in my 18' cataraft.

I am interested in BV, as the videos I have watched make it look pretty nice. I'm available to go either Sat or Sun, and would really like to go with someone who knows the run, as I have seen a lot of wood reports on here.
