Advice for a newb?

Post by jrich on Tue 16 Aug 2011, 2:15 am

I'm new to paddling and looking for guidance on getting started. I took pool classes several years ago, so my roll is pretty rusty. I did the HenTag last week in a duckie and it was simple. Now, I realize that a kayak is a much different experience than a duckie, but it seems like it would be a safe and fairly easy run for me to learn on. Any thoughts? I'd like to join the weekly Tues HenTag run today.

That's what the tuesday run is all about. Feel free to grab your kayak and come on out.
