89 to OPP Wed. evening

Post by brianteats on Wed 31 Aug 2011, 2:10 am

So I've secured a shuttle from the misses for pickup at OPP tomorrow evening. Figured it be nice to satisfy my curiousity of what the run is looking like now that summer is about to wind down. Puting in solo(unless company shows up) at around 445. Any and all are welcome to brave the mighty meandering Weeb!

For those not in the know-it is a good step-up from Hen-Tag but nothing to stressful, abilty to roll is prefered, and plan on a good 2-2.5 hours on the river with high probability of tree dodging.

Good, clean run today. Lots of unfamiliar sections and tree strainers add to the spice of these sections. The Uinta bridge drop has a great boof move now and the second slide is a gnarly pinball ride. The tree strainers, close to the end of the RW to OPP section, aren't an issue anymore because the river flows through the baseball diamonds now.
