Ogden River Restoration Ribbon cutting, Oct 7th

Post by Jeff Young on Fri 09 Sep 2011, 9:41 am

The Ogden River Restoration project will be having it's ribbon cutting ceremony on Oct 7th at 3pm. There will be a water release of approx 300-400 cfs on the Ogden River
During the event to allow people to better float the lower section and play at Crystal Wave where the ceremony will be taking place. There will be service projects happening such as trash/debris pickup along the shore and in the water. Come on out and help out then enjoy the water release. Big thanks to Crystal Young for her hard work getting this section of the Ogden cleaned up and for making us a new play feature.

Crystal wave is behind the new Walmart at 19th and Wall ave in Ogden.

I would probably be up for that. That will be an extremely long but fun run.

Its not really THAT long... just Pineview, Narrows and Rainbow Gardens then a few blocks of flat water till Crystals. Sounds like fun.

9 miles, plus a bit; would be an hour at 1600 :-)
3-4 hours at 400-600?
In on Oct 7.
Prep for the releases with a Rainbow Gardens work party, anyone? Next Wed-Thurs evening most likely.
