lower Ogden work

Post by wasatchbill on Wed 19 Oct 2011, 1:23 am

If anyone is interested in continuing the pruning work on the lower Ogden, please shoot me an email. The weather is perfect.

I'd like to work from below the Wally wave down to the confluence.

For a flatwater workout the other day, I paddled upstream from 1500W (by I-15), up to the confluence of the Weber and Ogden, then up the Ogden a bit. Tried out a 17 foot surf ski style kayak; great for attaining, as long as you have room to turn around :-). Pretty thick on the lower Ogden still.

Drove by the train trestle on the Weber below OPP; riverwide, jigsaw puzzle logs.
A slot is open on the right now, but that could change in the spring.
